- Born and raised on Long Island, Emily holds a BA in English literature from Mount Holyoke College and an MA in journalism from the University of Colorado-Boulder. A five-time Denver Post Ovation Award nominee, Emily has received several awards over the years including the Colorado Theatre Guild's 2007 Henry Award for Outstanding Actress in a Play for her work in Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune. In 2009 she was included in Westword's Best of Denver issue in the category of "Best Season by an Actress." When not working with Paragon, Emily performs with other companies throughout the state; past collaborations include those with the Avenue Theatre, Theatreworks in Colorado Springs, Germinal Stage, the Aurora Fox, Modern Muse, the LIDA Project and Littleton Town Hall.
