Paragon's Mission: Through the preservation of the classics and the development of new works, Paragon Theatre's dedicated ensemble of artists seeks to illuminate the human experience with unflinching courage and truth. Paragon Theatre exists to serve the story and the greater Denver community, tackling every project with passion, humility and diverse insight--an approach that results in a rare collaborative experience.

Paragon is a theatre made up of many voices that create one voice. The ensemble is the creative foundation for every artistic choice the company makes.

What makes the ensemble collaboration unique?

The Ensemble:

  • Selects the season
  • Includes not only actors and directors, but designers, producers and technicians as well
  • Attends rehearsals and provides feedback to the director and executes post-show debriefings
  • Evaluates and executes all outreach programming
  • Attends annual retreat to evaluate and prepare season and company strategy
  • Establishes and executes artistic aesthetic
